The present general terms and conditions of sale apply exclusively between the company WEB Stratégie (owners of the website african-art.net) 7, rue Angélique Vérien 92200 Neuilly sur Seine (hereafter known as "Us") and any person visiting or purchasing through the website www.african-art.net (hereafter known as "You")

Internauts can access the general terms and conditions of sale on the website www.african-art.net (hereafter know as the “Site”). These general terms and conditions of sale may be modified, the conditions applicable being those in effect on the website on the date you place your order.

2.1 Conditions for placing an order

You declare to be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity or parental responsibility allowing you to place an order on the Site.

Any order placed on the Site must correspond to normal household needs.

2.2 Your Order

After having placed your order, we will send You e-mail confirmation.
We will inform you of the dispatch of your articles.

The prices shown on the Site are given in Euros and include all French taxes (French VAT and other applicable taxes), they do not include delivery charges, or order processing costs.

All orders are subject to availability. The availability of articles sold on the Site is shown on the information page for each article.

If, despite our care the articles are not available, We will inform You by e-mail as soon as possible.

Despite all our efforts, it is possible that an article present on Our Site shows a pricing error. Rest assured that We will carry out a price check at the dispatch of your article. If the correct price is inferior to that shown on the Site, We will apply the lowest price and We will send You Your article. If the correct price is superior to that shown on the Site, We will inform You and We will cancel your order, unless You chose to accept the order at the new price.

All orders placed on the Site and delivered outside France may be subject to eventual taxes and to customs duties which are imposed when the parcel reaches its destination. These customs duties and eventual taxes related to the delivery of an article are at your own cost and are your entire responsibility. We are not liable for verifying, or of informing You of customs duties and applicable taxes. For this information, We advise You to contact the relevant competent authorities in your country.

You can make a payment using your credit/debit card or via Paypal.

It is obligatory for cards issued by banks domiciled outside France to be international bank cards. In the case of payment by card, the total sum of your order will only be debited when your items are dispatched.

Right to the error:

It is possible to return any article purchased on african-art.net within 15 days from receipt of the article. As soon as the article arrives back at our premises we will issue you a full refund for the price you paid for the article. You are liable for the costs of returning the article. This sales agreement is offered to reassure you in the case of the object not coming up to your expectations, or if it just doesn’t fit into your home ...You do not have to justify your reasons.

Article damaged on receipt of delivery :

If you receive an article that is defective or that has been damaged during transit, it is essential that you make this known to our Colissimo carrier. We will refund the total billing price as well as your initial and return delivery charges as soon as we receive the returned product in our premises, and under reserve that this is within 30 days from the date you informed the carrier of the problem.

The delivered goods remain our property up until their dispatch when they are handed over to the carrier, and once You have paid in full.

We are committed to taking all the usual professional care to ensure the rapid delivery of the product to the client via our carrier Colissimo. However we cannot be held liable for a breach of our contractual obligations due to exceptional circumstances, or in the case of a force majeure as is defined by the jurisprudence given by French jurisdiction.

We will not be held liable in the case of non substantial discrepancies between the photos shown of the articles on our Site, texts and illustrations and the articles ordered.

We will do everything in our power to ensure the services related to the herein General Terms and Conditions. We are liable for any direct or foreseeable damage when using this site or at the conclusion of the contract between You and Us. Under no circumstances will we incur liability in regard of professionals, for loss of profit, commercial losses, data losses, reduced profits, or any other indirect damage that was not foreseeable at the time of use of the Site or at the conclusion of the contract between Us and You.

The limitation of liability cited above is inapplicable in case of fraud or gross negligence on our part, in case of bodily injury or of responsibility due to defective products, in the event of third party claims, or non conformity (including hidden defects).

We grant you a limited licence to access and use the Site for your own personal use. Under no circumstances are You authorized to download or modify all or part of the Site without our express written authorization.
