Exceptional statue of an Ibo Queen Mother sitting. A beautiful work of sculpture. The statue stands slightly arched, breasts forward, elbows bent with arms held to the rear. The head is adorned with a beautiful crest which is carved with geometric shapes. The face is defined by a heart-shaped with an open mouth revealing teeth. Beautiful patina with white, beige brown colours.
