Product Description African Mask with monkey

Great look for this Dogon masks decorated with scarifications and displaying a female statue on one side and a man statue on the other. On the top of the mask is held with great dignity a monkey with arms thrown forward and resting on his feet on the front edge of the mask. More traditionally eyes are represented by square holes enrolled in orbits as large rectangular cavities.
