Beautiful Ndomo mask, impressive, showing between its r four horns that decorate the top of his face a statue that must be be the goddess Faro. Beautiful black patina, the face is decorated with scarifications. Ndomo masks have between two and eight horns that symbolize the inner life of man. Remember that in Bamana boys receive social and religious instruction that takes place in six stages. The first step is the ndomo which marks the end of childhood (5 years) which is accompanied by circumcision.
